Route Investigation and Site Location Planning – Site investigation, including collection and assembly of all pertinent information and delivery of recommendations to the client. This is a detailed, front-end analysis focusing on:

• Constructability
• Environmental issues

Permit and Application Assistance – Universal is strategically positioned to support provincial Crown applications, ERCB permit applications, National Energy Board applications and all mapping for third party interest consultations and approvals.

Construction Surveys – We specialize in comprehensive construction surveys on all types of projects, including:
• Valve and compressor sites
• Large diameter pipelines and systems
• Midstream programs
• Gas plants, processing facilities
We provide comprehensive asbuilt data packages required for ensuring compliance to design specifications, quality control, and material reconciliation.

Pipeline Integrity Layout and Support – Using Client supplied information and inline inspection results, our survey crews assist with inline inspection identification, layout, asbuilt and database updates. Universal will liaise with land agents, environmental agencies, and landowners to establish access and crossing agreements, provide full locate and stakeout services, as well as return mapping, property sketches and data updates as required.
