“Nuvo Hotel Suites is a boutique department style hotel that’s well-geared towards the corporate traveler. We have 32 suites in the property in a mixture of different styles and sizes. Nuvo was a very unique concept for Calgary and we find many of our guests appreciate the boutique and stylish surroundings in our suites. All of our suites are equipped with full kitchenettes that have a fridge, a microwave, a stove, an oven, and being right across the street from a Safeway, we find that’s ideal for guests. At Nuvo, we’re basically four or five blocks right out of the downtown core, 10 minute walk to the core where there is the telus convention center and a number of the main corporate offices. As well, we’re only minutes away from 17th Ave in the heart of Calgary’s dining and nightlife area. It’s a great location for those looking to work during the day and play in the evening. Nuvo offers free wireless internet and free phone calls anywhere across North America for our guests. As well, we have the ability to assign a direct phone line to the guest rooms so they can have direct phone line access during their stay with us. All of our rooms have coded locks for entry with codes that are changes after each guest. We’re able to even personalize the code if a guest has requested a certain combination to make it easier to remember. We have heated underground parking that’s located one block away from the hotel. As well, we have guest discounts available at Heaven’s Fitness, a gym that’s only a few blocks away. We’ve worked out a deal with Bumpy’s Café. They put together a breakfast box for our guests, which is basically a light Continental breakfast, a very healthy fare. Guests are able to order it from their front desk and we place it into the fridge the evening before so it’s already there for the morning, regardless of what time the guest has to be up and running.
